Dear Ace & A, I wanted to thank you for your service and treating me like a customer and not a single female who is HVAC challenged. Below is a review I placed on YELLOWPAGES.COm which is where I located your business originally. If there is anything on this review that you would like me to change, please do not hesitate to let me know. I have nothing but rave reviews for Ace & A. They are probably the best service company that I have encountered yet. And I mean service generically along side being a talented HVAC business. in the last two years, I have had 13 different HVAC companies come out to fix my HVAC, each claiming they were the best and they could get my system fixed and running properly. I eventually even utilized a referral business like Service Magic in attempts to hire knowledgeable and trustworthy HVAC contractors. However, it seems some where in the fine print, the first 12 companies meant at least until my payment (averaging about $400) went through. Ace & A on the other hand, not only fixed my HVAC system but FINALLY in the 10 years that I have owned my house AND a dual fuel system, got it operating correctly which is apparent by my saving on energy bills. But it is beyond the fact that Ace & A actually did the job they said they would do. it is because they fixed the shorts in my system that other companies tricked the system to work around temporarily, their professional manner of calmly working with my frustrated state, and their integrity to fix the system properly where the other 12 companies had rewired a hazardous work around. Who ever said 13 was an unlucky number, does not know how lucky I feel to have FINALLY encountered Ace & A Heating and Air Conditioning. If this Rating and Reviews had a sixth star for above and beyond, Ace & A would get 10 of them.

On the recommendation of a friend, I made an appointment to give the A.C. system a summer check up. It was a very old unit and I questioned whether it would make it through 2009. On Wednesday, the technician, Marvyn, came on time for the appointment, carefully serviced and checked out the system. He informed me that it was running very roughly and did not know how long it would last. On Sunday night, the compressor died. I called Ace & A on Monday morning and Chad was here within 2 hours. He gave and estimate to replace the AC system. We made a decision, called Ace adn they were back and working on the replacement system within another hour or so. Doyen and Craig were the installation team... very nice, hard workers! In the middle of the AC replacement, it was decided to also replace the very old heating unit. We received and extremely fair proposal for the entire system. The team was back early on Tuesday morning and the job was completed to my absolute satisfaction by 3:00p. What a great experience. I highly recommend Ace & A. They are reliable, fair in their pricing and have outstanding technicians... plus they left my home free of debris and in a clean condition. They made a unexpected expense and inconvienence as easy and painless as possible. Thank you Ace & A team!

The Ace & A team was the most effective in Atlanta that I've experienced living in and renovating my homes since 1982. From Nikki's effective call-back on the "true" 24 hour after-hour emergency telephones in the middle of "Hot Altanta's" city wide A/C systems failures season, to Karl's (Service tech) quick appearance on site and rapid identification of the problem, to Rick's (Sales Manager) next day on-site inspection to verify my off beat equipment demands and his excellent pricing - to the installation guys, John and Sam the following day's efficient equipment replacement and proper installation returning my home to air-conditioned comfort, there's not another company in Atlanta who could equal their pleasant teamwork, price or 48-hour performance.
The other half-dozen I attempted to deal with, either didn't have an emergency team that could respond at all or they could not get out until the day after tomorrow or they weren't able to make an appointment until "five days later". Their attitude, Hey, it's Wednesday - it's Hot? To Bad!
Ace & A simply demonstrated that they understood and wanted to help fix the problem, NOW.

my needs when replacing my new ductless split system in my home.
John and his crew was "on time" and "left my home very neat and clean" when they were finished. They were courteous and all of your employees completed everything that was agreed on to the letter. The price and value for my installation was exactly what I was looking for. I would consider using Ace & A for future projects in my home.

In the EARLY morning hour of 1:15 am on Dec 7, 2005, I woke up because I was so cold! I did the usual things to try to get the heat to come on, but, although the system would cycle on, it would only blow COLD air!
I called the number for the office on E. College Ave in Decatur, very upset. You see, I was scheduled for surgery the same day at 6:30 in the morning, having recently being diagnosed with breast cancer! I was about at the end of my rope, so to speak.
The voice on the other end of the phone was your after hours employee, Nikki West. I explained the situation and she assured me everything would be taken care of, asking if I could arrange for someone to be at my house to let the repairman in at 7:30am. She assured me that he would come before he actually went to the office, to take care of this.
I had recently had Ace & A do my annual furnace inspection, so I left that receipt on the table for the repairman to look at when he came. I have 3 pets and was so concerned about them freezing! I called a friend who came to my house after I had gone to the hospital, and waited for the repairman. I just wanted you to know how very much I appreciated Nikky! She remained calm, even though I was not, and kept reassuring me that everything was going to be alright! She was my counselor in addition to taking the necessary information to get the repairs done. I can't thank her enough for helping me through this!
I'm on the road to recovery now, but I just wanted you to know that Nikki was such a blessing in my life.
Too often, good deeds such as hers do not get recognized, and I didn't want that to happen this time! You have a wonderful employee in Nikki!
I will contact you again in the spring to take care of annual inspection of my air conditioning unit!

Recently, I called Ace & A when my furnace went out. I am very pleased with the response and quality of service I received. Ben Parrish, the service rep who came out, was professional, courteous, and thorough. We have an old furnace and Ben had to come out several times to resolve our problem.
